It is a world heritage, the bell tower of Todai-ji Temple of Nara. By Todai-ji Temple foundation original casting, diameter 2.71m, 3.865m in height, a big bell of 26.3t in weight are on. In Todai-ji Temple, a bell temple founded at (733 years), the young grass foot of a mountain for Tenbyo era five years is considered to be the origin, and a principal idol has Vairocana known as "a great statue of Buddha of Nara".
