It is a world heritage of Nara, the grand hall of Yakushi-ji Temple. Front 41m, 20m in depth, the height have it of about 17m, and it is the building of the Buddhist monastery maximum. A Buddhist image of the principal idol is enshrined. The chaitya which Yakushiji prayed for the ill recovery of the Her Majesty Empress Uno Sagara that the Emperor Tenmu was the later Emperor Jitou for 680 years and founded in the ground of Asuka.
